The Valencia Sur Veterinary Hospital is born in March 2012, as the first Veterinary Center in Spain, to offer a service that is exclusively dedicated to referred cases and 24-hour urgencies.
While focusing on the diagnosis, on the medical and on the surgical management of the different specialties; the Hospital offers a wide service in close collaboration with all the fellow senders.
The Hospital has an area of 2.000m2 in which 7 consultation rooms and 4 operating rooms are distributed. Of these 4 operating rooms, the Center has one authorized for Endoscopy, Laparoscopy and Interventional Procedures; and another specific one for Neurology and Traumatology (with its own Intensive Care Unit).
The diagnostic imaging area is over 300m2 and it includes: a CAT and MRI Room, a Minimal Invasive Surgery operating room, a patient’s preparation and wake-up room, a radiology, ultrasound and radiological reports room.
500m2 dedicated to teaching, research and training.
The Center has a conference room for more than 100 people, lecture rooms, practice rooms and a catering area.
It also has a Minimal Invasive and Laparoscopic Surgery operating room that allows the assistance of fellow professionals, who are in training, as well as that of sending veterinarians.
All this makes the Valencia Sur Veterinary Hospital to be one of the best prepared private centers to hold conferences, congresses and workshops, from both theoritcal and practical standpoints.
The Center also offers, in collaboration with IVET, un módulo de formación intensiva especializada en el área quirúrgica para auxiliares técnicos veterinarios
